About Alfie AND PENNY

Alfie is a 12-year-old Labrador cross Poodle who has recently retired as an assistance dog for Jess.

Jess had high hopes that her new dog, Penny, a 4 year old black Standard Poodle would be able to take over Alfie’s role, but it turns out that Penny is a bit too flighty for the job. Despite this, Penny is still the top dog of the pack.

About Tilly

Tilly is an 8-year-old Bull Lurcher who was adopted from Gerry Green’s Rescue Center. Tilly had been at the center for a long time, as she is big and black, which made it difficult for her to find a forever home. However, Liz, Jess’s mother, fell in love with Tilly and has had her for 7 years now.

About Rosie

Rosie is the litter sister of Penny and was a surprise addition to the family. Liz didn’t think they were getting another dog, but when she saw Rosie, she couldn’t resist. Rosie is a litter sister to Penny with a bent tail, which made her less desirable to others, but Liz saw past that and fell in love with her. Rosie has earned the nickname “Spinney Rosie” because she gets so excited that she spins around.
